Relief project to IDPs: Goni Gora IDP Camp, Southern Kaduna - 24th July 2021

The LAY FAITHFUL TRUST FUND conducted relief outreach to IDP families at the Goni Gora camp. We are grateful to the brethren who donated the funds. We are also grateful to Bro. David and Sister Laura for executing the project.

The brethren arrived at the camp 19 months ago. The traditional ruler in the community provided the secondary school hall as place of refuge. It's an open hall without flooring, no mattresses, and destitute of other amenities required for decent living.

Items distributed are:
1. 12 bags of maize (100kg)
2. 20 bags of rice (50kg)
3. N5,000 cash to 40 families each
The beneficiaries are mostly widows and children.

The brethren require additional help as follows:
• Water
• Medical facilities
• School for children
• Regular food
• Farming Empowerment

We continue to trust the Lord for more resources to properly resettle and empower our persecuted brethren in all the affected areas.
