  • Decree fiery judgment of God on every Church leader that pollutes, defiles, and corrupts the Church of Jesus Christ. Mal. 2: 1 – 9
  • Pronounce judgment of exposure and instant dismissal on every Church leader using power of darkness in the Church of Jesus Christ, every Church leader in secret cult, and those trafficking with demons to work lying wonders. 2 Cor. 11: 13-15; Nah. 3: 4-6
  • Pronounce judgment of God on every minister of the gospel using the name of Jesus Christ to pray for, endorse and promote wicked and corrupt politicians and rulers in the country. Pray that God shall dismiss them from His service. 1 Sam. 2: 30; Phil. 3: 18-19

  • Pray that God will enter Nigerian Church as “refiner and purifier of silver” and “purify the sons of Levi”. Mal. 3: 3

DAY 2

15th Feb.         Judgment on those shedding the blood of saints, kidnappers, and terrorists

Three things defile a land and bring curses upon the people. These are: bloodshed, adultery, and idolatry. All the three evils are rampant in Nigeria.

The prayer today shall focus on bloodshed while tomorrow shall focus on immorality and idolatry.

  • Bring repentance to God for all the bloodshed in Nigeria through Islamic terrorism, ritual killings, kidnappings, armed robbery, cultism, gang wars, etc.
  • Pronounce judgment of God upon the sponsors as well as the terrorists who shed the blood of the saints and pronounce judgment on them. Rev. 16: 4-6
  • Pronounce judgment of God upon the foreign nations that aid and abet terrorism in Nigeria. As they have denied Nigeria peace, so shall peace be withdrawn from them. Ps. 83
  • Decree judgment on every Government official supporting genocide in Nigeria. Let God arise and judge them. As they have destroyed innocent lives, let the judgment of God be poured on them. Ps. 68: 1-3
  • Pray judgment of God upon satanic priests servicing satanic altars that demand human sacrifices in Nigeria for money ritual, political power, and fame. Judge all those evil altars and the evil priests servicing them. Ps. 11: 6
  • Take authority over every evil spirit demanding human sacrifice in Nigeria. Ask God to release Michael and his angels to drive these evil spirits back into hell. Ps. 35: 5-6
  • Shut every gate of hell opened by politicians and inordinate wealth seekers in Nigeria. Mt. 16: 18-19
  • Plead the blood of Jesus to speak mercy and forgiveness for Nigeria and atone for the blood calling for vengeance upon the land. Heb. 12: 22-24

DAY 3

16th Feb.         Judgment on immorality and idolatry in the land

According to a survey from a multi-national company, Nigerian married women constitute the largest group of unfaithful women in the world. This report was contested by some Nigerians. To worsen matters, Nigerian doctors confirm that 6 out of 10 children (60%) brought for DNA in Nigeria are not fathered by the man in the house.

Christian youths take the lead in pornography and in immoral shows. It is said concerning BBNaija that mostly Christian youths participate. Youths of other religions tend to stay away.

Apart from traditional idolatry, Nigerian Church is fast becoming idolatrous through the prosperity teaching which promotes covetousness. The Bible in Eph. 5: 5 and Col. 3: 5 confirm that in NT, covetousness is idolatry.

In a country that boasts of the largest Cathedrals in Africa and the largest gathering of Christians in the world, the reports of immorality in Nigeria are disgraceful.

  • Bring repentance to God for the immorality, uncleanness, and licentiousness in Nigeria in the presence of a Church well-endowed by God to prevent it. 2 Chro. 7: 14
  • Take authority over every unclean spirit operating in Nigeria, within and outside the Church, promoting immorality and all manners of debauchery. Isaiah 29: 6
  • Pronounce judgment on corporate organizations and individuals sponsoring immoral shows and programs targeted at the youths to lead them astray. Matt. 15: 13
  • Pray for God’s intervention that Government shall tighten regulations against immorality and perversion in the country and maintain strict control of the internet gateway to prevent defiling materials from having free access into the country. Is. 62: 6-7
  • Repent of the culture of idolatry in the country and rededicate the land back to God. Ps. 24: 1-3
  • Take authority over every demon spirit promoting idolatry and contending with the glory of God in Nigeria. Jer. 10: 11
  • Pray that ministers of the gospel shall cease promoting covetousness (idolatry) as prosperity message and return to the NT message of contentment. Eph. 5: 5; Col. 3: 5; 1 Tim. 6: 6-10

DAY 4

17th Feb.         Judgment on corrupt leaders looting the wealth of Nigeria – Job 20

Nigeria is mightily endowed by God with mineral resources and physical wealth. Unfortunately, the ruling class, from the military to the politicians denied the masses of the people from gaining access to the commonwealth of the country. It was reported in the media that in 17 years, Nigerian leaders stole N38 trillion from the national treasury. Presently, Nigeria is regarded as the poverty capital of the world.

There is the need therefore to pray down judgment of God upon the looters of the wealth of the country. They have become so powerful and influential that only God can judge them.

  • Use Job 20: 4-29 to pray for the politicians and all those who looted the wealth of Nigeria. Read it aloud and enforce the judgment upon all of them, including religious leaders who join them to loot the wealth of Nigeria.
  • Pray that a whirlwind of righteous indignation of God shall blow all over Nigeria and sweep away a generation of greedy and covetous leaders whose god is their belly.
  • Pray that God shall raise righteous leaders in the country who shall execute judgment on the looters of the treasury of Nigeria. Pray for the anointing of Jehu to be released upon Nigeria.
  • Pronounce judgment on the foreign nations that siphon the wealth of this country to feed their people while Nigerians wallow in poverty. Pray that Nigeria shall be delivered from their grip.
  • Pray that God shall raise a new generation of leaders who shall be bold and determined to resist any form of external domination.
  • Pray for the evil lead placed over the hidden riches of Nigeria to be broken open and that the resources God has prepared for this season will flow un-hindered into the vessels He has prepared.

DAY 5

18th Feb.         Judgment on politicians engaged in human sacrifices and satanic rituals to get political power.

The escalation of evil and lawlessness in the country is traceable to satanic rituals of politicians seeking political power at all costs. These evil men and women open spiritual portals for demons to infest the land. Only the prayer of the saints can stop them and reverse all the evils they have brought on the land.

“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.”

Ps. 149: 5 – 9

  • Pray down God’s righteous judgment upon every politician that does human and satanic sacrifices and rituals to gain political power. Pray that their covenant with hell shall neither stand nor yield any result. Isaiah 28: 14 – 19
  • Pray that God shall release the heavenly hosts into Nigeria to drive all the demons summoned by politicians back into hell. Ps. 35: 5-6
  • Plead the blood of Jesus to nullify all their incantations, enchantments, sorceries, and divinations. It shall not stand neither shall it come to pass. Isaiah 7: 7
  • Pray that the power of darkness these evil people have summoned shall be punished by God and those evil spirits shall turn against those who summoned them.
  • Pray down divine judgment on satanic priests and priestesses servicing evil altars in the land where human sacrifices are offered for politicians. Pray that God shall cut off all the satanic priests and priestesses from Nigeria.
  • Pray that God shall speedily judge and cast down any minister of the gospel who calls the name of Jesus Christ to pray for evil politicians.
  • Isaiah 8: 9-10 Decree failure of every conspiracy to perpetuate evil in the land.
  • 75: 6-7 Pray that anyone who seeks promotion in Nigeria outside of Almighty God shall fail and whatever power he summons shall not work.
  • Cast down every political candidate that is projected upon Nigeria by sorcery and prognostication. Unmask every devil that is masquerading as statesman.

DAY 6

19th Feb.         Promotion of righteous men and women into positions of authority all over the country.

1 Sam. 2: 6-9 Magnify and exalt the Almighty God

  • 1 Chro. 29: 10-13 Worship God and magnify Him. Power, glory, and honor are in His hands. He determines who is promoted and prominent.
  • Micah 4: 1-2 – The time has come for the mountain of the Lord to be exalted above every other mountain in Nigeria. Let the sons of Glory be exalted in the land.
  • 105: 24 Pray that God will increase the righteous and God-fearing people in Nigeria and place them in positions of authority.
  • Ask the LORD to place righteous people on top of all mountains of influence in Nigeria.
  • Let all mountains of influence in Nigeria be subject to the righteousness, holiness, and truth of God.
  • Pray that henceforth, this land shall not give honor to evil and wicked people. Only people of integrity shall be exalted in Nigeria.
  • Lord, search out the righteous in this land and place them in positions of authority, as you sought David and placed him on the throne.

DAY 7

20th Feb.        Restoration of God’s glory into Nigeria

Pastor Elton delivered a prophecy many years ago that God said Nigeria shall stink globally due to corruption and evil, but the tide shall change, and Nigeria shall be known for righteousness and glory.

We have witnessed the first part of the prophecy. Let us pray the second part into manifestation.

  • Proclaim aloud Ps. 24 and call on the Lord of Glory to re-claim Nigeria as His property. Command every spiritual highway and gate of righteousness in Nigeria to open for the King of Glory to enter the land.
  • Isaiah 62: 1 - 4 – Pray that heaven shall not rest until the glory of God rests upon Nigeria.
  • Isaiah 62: 5 – 9 Pray that intercessors in the land shall receive fresh anointing to pray ceaselessly until Nigeria becomes a praise in the earth according to God’s prophecy.
  • Daniel 7: 25 – Pray away the spirit of weariness that is beginning to afflict many intercessors in the country.
  • Anything programmed into the heavenlies against the fulfillment of the will of God for Nigeria be cast down and destroyed, in the name of Jesus. Jeremiah 10: 11
  • Isaiah 60 – Proclaim aloud and pray.

Week of National Prayers & Repentance
Monday 8th – Sunday 14th February 2021

Dearly beloved,

WEEK OF NATIONAL PRAYERS & REPENTANCE

With much respect at the humbling instance again of the revered National Christian Elders Forum of Nigeria, I welcome you to the 2021 call to national prayers and repentance, the fourth in the series since 2018.  This year is unique, opening with the sounds of war again and the cries of a nation in pains to give birth.  The prophetic consensus since 2020 has been of a nation at the point of birthing, which explains much of the recent nationwide protests and travails (Isa 37:3).  In November 2020, a visiting East African minister who went the round of certain cities in Nigeria, had the same message: Nigeria is at the strategic point of delivery, with about a three-year window which, if missed, could mean another spell of decades of darkness before the circle returns again.  May the heavens not lament over Nigeria as Jesus did over Jerusalem because it missed “the time” of its divine visitation (Luke 19:41-44).

In the past years, intercessory groups specifically and other leaders of the Church in Nigeria have willingly borne this burden of prayer.  This year, I take for granted the previous endorsements and participations – as well as the commitment of new burden bearers, for which earlier notifications have not been sent, nor fresh permissions sought from the underlisted and the unlisted.

In view of COVID-19 protocols this year, daily prayer assemblies shall be online rather than at designated State and city centres or in the assemblies of participating organisations, except by the private arrangement of those organisations.   The nightly 30-minute prayer meetings from 10.00pm shall be as follows:

  • DATE: Monday 8th – Sunday 14th February, 2021.
  • PRAYER TIME: 10.00-10.30pm (Nigeria time) daily
  • VENUE: online, at Zoom:

https://zoom.us/j/91070144548?pwd=SzViUGZmNnNvRlVSeVpQUHVRa1BpQT09
Meeting ID: 910 7014 4548;
Passcode: 399980

  • THEME: Awake to righteousness (1 Cor. 15: 34)

Everyone would fast daily during the week at individual discretion, break when they would, pray at least an hour before midnight, join the corporate online prayers at 10pm (Nigeria time).  On the seventh day, Communion shall be administered.

Kindly share this information as widely as you can, and may the Lord strengthen your good hands for “such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).  Amen.

Sincerely,

Prof Kontein Trinya

PRAYER DETAILS

Monday 8th Feb. 2021

Repentance for the rejection of truth; prayers for a willing and obedient heart

John 8: 36; Isa 1:19

Only the truth sets free. The Nigeria Church does not lack people who speak the truth. The problem usually is that Christians reject it. The institutionalization of falsehood in the Church explains the many defeats that Christians have suffered.

This calls for repentance for consistent rejection of truth in the Church – in doctrine, on national issues, in Church administration.  The rejection of truth produces bondage, because only the truth sets free. We request a willing and obedient heart.

Tuesday 9th Feb. 2021

Repentance for the continual neglect of persecuted Christians, prayer for better management of resources

1 Cor. 12: 26; Heb. 13: 3; James 1: 27

Despite many reminders, Nigeria Christians have mostly ignored the critical needs of persecuted Christians. The insensitivity of key Christian leaders to the plight of persecuted Christians calls for repentance.  Heaven has released enormous resources to the Church to care for the persecuted brethren. We request divine transformation, that we become our brother’s keeper.

Wednesday 10th Feb. 2021

Repentance for disunity in the Church, prayer for unity

John 17: 21 “That they all may be one …”

While it carries this Bible verse as its motto, the Nigeria Church is divided along denominational, tribal, and lately, political lines. The will of God is for His Church to remain one. There is need for repentance from disunity in the Body of Christ, and for prayers that God would raise leaders who will unite His Church.

Thursday 11th Feb. 2021

Repentance for the loss of spiritual authority, prayer for revival

Matt. 16: 18

Christ established His Church triumphant over the gates of hell. Unfortunately, Christians are subjected to oppression, terror, marginalization; and the Church is unable to exercise spiritual authority over the forces of darkness ravaging the land. The reason is, the Church has lost moral authority. All kinds of misconduct are tolerated by the Nigeria Church; Christian youths are permissive and sensuous; fraud, greed, immorality, and drug abuse are rampant in the Church. Consequently, the Church cannot stand before its enemies. There is need for repentance in that respect, and prayers for revival.

Friday 12th February 2021

Repentance for the rejection of the counsel of Elders; prayer for a circumcised heart

James 5: 14-14

Sickness brought about by sin is supposed to be atoned for by the prayer of Elders in the Church. God raised a body of Christian Elders to stand in the gap for the Church. Their effort to draw attention to sin in Christian leadership has not been received, and themselves have been reproached. The weakness and defeat of the Church sits largely with the clergy.  Nigeria Christians need to ask forgiveness for rejecting divine counsel. When God sent help, Nigeria Christians rejected it.  Scripturally and culturally, when Elders speak, people listen.  That has not been the experience in Nigeria. May the Nigeria Church not lose divine visitation.

Saturday 13th February 2021

Repentance for unrestrained youthful lusts, immorality, perversion, drugs, and cultism; prayers for God to raise saviors; Davids against our Goliaths

Isa. 54: 13

In negation of the Word of God, Nigeria Christian youths are turning perverse and ungodly. There is need for repentance, and grace to bring up Christian children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Eph. 6: 4.  God has endowed Nigerian Christian youths with wisdom and creativity, but it is being hijacked by hell to promote ungodliness.

The hijack of the youths results from neglecting the doctrine of the cross and the building of Christlike disciples. In the competition to raise crowds in each one’s congregation, church leaders have ignored core teachings of the New Testament.

Sunday 14th February 2021

Repentance for injustice and blood guiltiness; prayer for the healing of the land by the blood of Jesus

Lev. 18: 25; Ezekiel 22: 24 – 31

The level of injustice, bloodshed, oppression, abuse of office that characterizes Nigeria surpasses Biblical proportions.

Boko Haram, Fulani ‘herdsmen,’ kidnappers, ‘bandits,’ the military, SARS, Police brutality, #ENDSARS, NASS, the Presidency, the Judiciary, ritualists, cultists, drug addicts, armed robbers, lesbians, homosexuals, the list seems endless. May the blood of Jesus answer to all these.

MONDAY 3RD FEBRUARY, 2020

Day 1

Repent for neglect of God's Word and counsel –
Prayers of Daniel and Nehemiah (Dan 9:1-19; Neh 9:1-38)

Isaiah 66: 2 - … but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Jeremiah 7: 23 - But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

  • The current distress in the land could have been avoided had we, as Christians, heeded the warning of God. In 2014, God specifically warned us that a certain political party should not be supported by Christians. Many Christians, with some church leaders, not only rejected that message but actually attacked it strongly.  May we confess and ask God’s forgiveness for ignoring His warning. 1 John 1: 8 - 10
  • In 2018, God sent another warning that the Church should be restructured before December of the same year else Christians would lose control of the 2019 elections. Again, the Church not only ignored that warning but some of our leaders condemned it.

Let us specifically ask God’s forgiveness for our stubborn heart and stiff neck.  Ps. 51: 10 - 12

  • God raised Elders from all the parts of the country to give counsel and admonition to the Church.  We have both rejected their admonition and also reproached them.  May we confess and ask forgiveness.
1: 6 - But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers?...
  • The Lord has warned, “No man can serve two masters” (Matt. 6: 24), yet in Nigeria we have turned Christianity into the worship of mammon. It is necessary to confess and repent.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world”.1 John 2: 15-17.  We have prided ourselves in the garments of the world, often struggling to compete with or conform to the world.  Rarely have we paid attention to raising disciples in the image of Jesus Christ.  Let us confess and ask forgiveness.
  • 2 Chro. 7: 14 – We and our leaders have ignored humility and the turning away from wicked ways, yet have kept praying and fasting. God has said, “Nigerian Christians are praying and fasting but, they are not repenting.” May we ask forgiveness for pride and arrogance in the Church.
  • Mark 16: 15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
The Nigeria Church has gradually ignored evangelism and soul winning while placing premium on prosperity and entertainment in the sanctuary. The Great Commission has been ignored, and missions and missionaries are suffering.  May we confess and turn from this great disobedience to the command of the Lord.
  • John 17: 21 – The call of God to the Nigeria Church is, “That they all may be one”.However, the Church is divided along lines of denomination, ethnicity, and region.  May God forgive this sin of disunity and heal us.
  • May we also ask repentance from the mystery of iniquity instituted by the Babylonian church to enhance satanic schemes.  2 Thess. 2:7-12.
  • May we repent of the Mystery of Iniquity that we have instituted in Nigeria, grieving the heart of God.
  • Using the gifts and institutions of God, we have validated satanic schemes and decrees of hell over the nation and individuals in the following areas:
  • in politics and governance, occult leaders ratified by the Church have enthroned since 2015 and also in the 2019 elections.
  • in traditional institutions, our participation and ratification of their ways have condemned us.
  • May we bring up before the Lord some of the other specific sins that have testified specifically against the Church in Nigeria:
  • An ultimate hardness of heart from our persistent wicked ways
  • Rebellion – Ezk. 43:7-8: setting our human thresholds by His thresholds
  • Revelry: Enjoying sinful behaviour and lifestyle, insisting that it is ‘modern’ and acceptable. Ex. 32:1-6.
  • Three other iniquities have come out of the above:

a) Attributing the word of God to an idol

b) Raising an altar to the idol.

c) Instituting a feast to the idol.

  • Religion: Betrayal of the Lord’s cause. Like Judah, we have sold out the Prince of Peace for 30 shekels of silver.
  • In 1 Cor. 5:1-8, the Lord warned against a company that should ordinarily not be associated with His Name as ‘Christians,’ but now we have them in their numbers as Bishops and G.O’s and national leaders.  Partaking with them, we also have become, like them,
  • Covetous people.
  • Idolaters of self, of man, of mammon.
  • Extortioners
  • Any other prayer point as led by the Spirit.

TUESDAY 4TH FEBRUARY, 2020

Day 2

Repent for neglect of persecuted Christians (Matt 25:41-46; Ephesians 6:19-20)

Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. Pro. 21: 13

  • 13: 3 – Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; andthem which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
While some Christians are persecuted and hounded to death in the country, others are celebrating as if it does not concern them. Let us repent of this great selfishness and lack of concern for the Body of Christ.
  • 1 Cor. 12: 26 - And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Let us repent of the lack of burden in the Church to pray for persecuted Christians as well as the failure to organize to defend them.  May God pour upon us the burden to pray for persecuted Christians.
  • James 1: 27 - Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, andto keep himself unspotted from the world.
Let us repent of the neglect of persecuted Christians in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps. Widows and orphans at the camps are suffering terribly while other Christians are throwing “parties” in their churches.
  • 2 Thes. 1: 6 - Seeing it isa righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
As God receives our repentance, may He also recompense tribulation to all that trouble and persecute Christians in Nigeria, especially in the North.
  • 2 Cor. 1: 3 -4 Blessed beGod, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfortthem which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Pray divine comfort and consolation to all that have been negatively impacted by the persecutions in Nigeria. Pray that God will grant them healing and strength, and pour the joy of the Lord into their hearts.
  • 15: 13 - But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Pray that every structure supporting the persecution of Christians in Nigeria should be rooted out by the Almighty God.
  • The Christian Social Movement of Nigeria (CSMN) with NCEF is working to send relief to persecuted Christians in IDP camps. Pray that this initiative as well as similar efforts by individuals and other organizations shall receive the support of the Church, and that wicked people shall not frustrate it nor Satan hinder it.

1 Thes. 2: 18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

  • 1 Sam. 30: 8 - And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all
Let us pray that Nigerian Christians shall pursue their enemies, overtake them and, without fail, recover all that they have lost.
  • Any other prayer point as led by the Spirit.

WEDNESDAY 5TH FEBRUARY, 2020

Day 3

Repent for defilement of sanctuary (Matt 21:12-14; 1 Kings 18:19; Ezr 9:1-15)

Jeremiah 7: 9-12 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. 12But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

  • 21: 13 - And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Let us repent of greed, covetousness, theft, corruption prevalent in the Church, and especially its defilement of the sanctuary through the leadership.
  • Ezekiel 8: 6 - He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? eventhe great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, andthou shalt see greater abominations.
May we repent of the conspiracies, strife, contentions, and evil associations in the Church and the struggle for wealth, influence and recognition.
  • Nehemiah 13: 28 – 29 And oneof the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, wasson in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me. 29Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites.
Despite the devastations inflicted upon Christians in Nigeria, some of us, like Sanballat and Tobias, have sworn allegiance to the persecutors and enemies of Christ.   This also is defilement of the sanctuary.
  • Nahum 3: 4 – 6 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. 5Behold, I amagainst thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. 6And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
May we repent of the witchcraft, occult, and other works of Satan that have been brought into the Church by religious leaders seeking to draw people after them.  May we dissociate the Nigeria Church from these workers of darkness and pray that God will uncover their skirts and expose all of them.
  • 26: 14 – 15 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, 15And said unto them,What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
There have been reported cases of church leaders receiving money from the Islamists to compromise the Church. It is the spirit of Judas.  May God forgive us also for this defilement of the sanctuary.
  • 2 Cor. 11: 13 – 15 For such arefalse apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it isno great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
We have had ministers of the gospel openly working for and defending the Islamists. They in turn have been defended by other Christians and ministers who canvass prayers for them.  For this reproach also, may we request God’s mercy upon His people.
  • Malachi 2: 7 – 9 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he isthe messenger of the LORD of hosts. 8But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 9Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
As leaders, some of us have not stood for the truth and for righteousness, which has contributed greatly to the problems of Christianity in Nigeria.  For this defilement of the sanctuary also, may God be merciful.

Day 4

Repent for failure of Christians to season the land as salt and maintain Godly standard of morality and truth. (Deut 21:1-8; Psa 74:1-23)

Matt. 5: 13 – 16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  • Acts 13: 47 - For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying,I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
The Lord commanded Christians to shine as light to the Gentiles. In Nigeria today, despite having millions of Christians, immorality, perversion and all manners of abominations fill the land.  We repent for the failure to be light in Nigeria.
  • Malachi 2: 15 -And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
God ordained marriage so that Godly seeds can come forth. Today, there is rebellion, crime, immorality among the youths, even in the Church.  We need to repent of our failure to raise Godly seed in the land. Without Godly seeds, there is no Godly future for the land.
  • Leviticus 18: 24 – 26 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 25And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 26Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit anyof these abominations; neitherany of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
Homosexuality, lesbianism and other perversions are creeping into the country while the Church has no Godly response. In the last episode of the international lewd Big Brother show, all the participants reportedly identified as Christians.  The Church has failed to teach holiness and sanctification. May God forgive this also.
  • 54: 13 - And all thy children shall betaught of the LORD; and great shall bethe peace of thy children.
The Church may have been building Godly seeds through education, like the early missionaries.  Sadly, we have seen education more as business than as a missionary field, often charging fees that many in the church cannot afford.
  • Isaiah 9: 6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The Government upon the shoulder represents the Body of Christ. Rather than provide Godly leadership for Nigeria, we have helped the anti-Christ to rule the country. Now the land is in agony and the Church has no answer.  May we repent of every evil political decision taken by Christians that has brought destruction to Nigeria.
  • Acts 10: 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus went about doing good. The poor and the needy in the land are not feeling the positive impact of the Church.  We have not been the salt we should be.  May God be merciful unto us.
Acts 5: 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
Rather than conduct Christianity in a manner that will compel people to fear God, Christianity has become a joke in Nigeria, and comedians make fun of God.
May we repent our misrepresentation of God.
  • Any other prayer point as led by the Spirit.

FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY, 2020

Day 5

Repent for disunity in the Body of Christ and weakness before the enemy (Ps. 133:1-3; 1 Cor 3:1-10; Matt 18:18-20)

John 13: 14 – 15 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

  • John 17: 21 - That they all may be one; as thou, Father, artin me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Due to self-seeking, the various arms of the Church are not one.
May we repent for the strife, discord, spiritual pride and denominational envy that produce disunity in the Church.
  • John 13: 35 By this shall all menknow that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
The lack of love amongst Christians has diminished mutual respect amongst Christians. Some assemblies look down on others while some envy others. May we repent of the failure to demonstrate the love of Christ in the Church.
  • 1 Cor. 3: 3-4 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there isamong you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I amof Apollos; are ye not carnal?
The proliferation of churches in Universities and other institutions of higher learning has exacerbated Christian disunity, especially amongst Christian youths. Let us repent of this and pray that Campus interdenominational fellowships like NIFES and IFES, etc, will grow stronger to break down every wall of division amongst Christian youths.
  • Joshua 7: 8 - O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
Due to moral laxity in the Church, Christians cannot stand before their enemies. The permissive and indulgent attitude in the Church towards sin gave room for the spirit of Achan to operate and weaken Christianity. Christians now depend on foreign countries to fight for the Nigerian Church.
Let us confess and repent of gross permissiveness and moral laxity in the Church that has divided the Church and weakened Christian unity.
  • Philipians 2: 5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Unity grows in an atmosphere of humility and obedience to the will of God.
Let us repent of every pride and arrogance in the Church that is at the root of the contentions and competition amongst brethren.
  • Luke 18: 1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end,that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
To sustain the national prayer tempo, a 24/7 prayer scheme has been conceived, to continue from after the Week of National Repentance. Pray that God shall stir the spirit of His people to participate and be faithful in the prayers. Visit csmnigeria.org to sign in to the prayers.

SATURDAY 8TH FEBRUARY, 2020

Day 6

Take authority over forces of violence and bloodshed in the land (Esth 3:7-15; Acts 12:1-4; 8:8-24)

Matt. 18: 18 – 20 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

  • 68: 1 – 3 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.  2As smoke is driven away, sodrive themaway: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
Call upon God to arise and scatter His enemies, cancelling all Haman-type plots and calendars to destroy the people of God at about Easter. Acts 12:1-5; Esther 4:1-17
  • Zechariah 1: 18 – 21 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. 19And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What bethese? And he answered me, These arethe horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. 20And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. 21Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
Let us pray that God will dispatch the four carpenters of heaven to destroy all the powers of darkness attacking Christianity in Nigeria.
  • 11: 6 - Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall bethe portion of their cup.

Isaiah 29: 6 - Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Execute judgment on the wicked.

  • 2 – Read entire Psalm and pray
  • 12: 29 - Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
Bind every satanic strongman operating in Nigeria or from foreign nations to wage war on the people of God in Nigeria
  • 105: 24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
Pray that God will increase His people and make them stronger and mightier than their enemies in the economy, politics, education, media, religion, etc.
  • 12: 10 – 11 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Proclaim the victory of Christ over the enemies of God in Nigeria.

Week of National Prayers & Repentance
Monday 3rd – Sunday 9th February, 2020
January 24, 2020.

Dearly beloved,

WEEK OF NATIONAL PRAYERS & REPENTANCE

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:2).  Amen.  If ever the Church in Nigeria, like the Philippian Church, needed both grace and peace from God, it is especially in this season of increasing threat to Christianity and to national unity, this season of unpleasant rumours and fainting hearts, a season when, strangely, salvation is also nearer than before.  As follow up to an earlier letter by Pastor Bosun Emmanuel that you may have received, I come in the awe of the moment again to bring you this 2020 call to the Lord’s altar of mercy “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).

The Week of Prayers this year is the third in a consecutive series since 2018, but the call this year is probably more urgent than ever, and more prophetic.  As we began to respond to the urgency in the spirit to call the nation again to Jehovah’s altar of Mercy for the land, little did we realise that the call last year had come at exactly this same period, 4th – 10th February, 2019, ahead of the national elections.  Significantly, this time, the Week shall be commencing at the conclusion of the three days also called by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) from Friday 31st January to Sunday 2nd February, 2020: “In the mouth of two or three…” (Matthew 18:16).  In the same spirit has Throneroom (Trust) Ministry of Prophet Emmanuel Kure called significantly for 25 hours of divinely commanded prayer and fasting and worship, between January 29th and 31st, that the books be opened for judgement over the nation and its ruler.  All in the same season.  There is a sound in the spirit…

In August last year, the city of Jos in central Nigeria hosted the end time prophet, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, who saw a huge angel in the hall during a session, an angel he identified as “the chief prince angel of the nation of Nigeria,” who revealed that there was coming “a new Nigeria … a new beginning for the nation of Nigeria … a change ... in the political arena” that “will come suddenly,” and “the unrighteous one will be removed from office.” Whatever that might mean, may that time come now as we pray in this season with simultaneous stirrings from on High…

While I was brooding on the heavenly intelligence for Nigeria in 2020 aptly coded in Acts 12:4, another respected Messenger also sent a word reporting rare encounters with the Lord, with indications for urgent national prayer interventions before the end of the first quarter of the year.  Like Haman (Esther 3:7), Herod has picked a date.

4 And when … [Herod] had apprehended him, he put … [Peter] in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after EASTER to bring him forth to the people … But prayer was made without ceasing of the church … and his chains fell off … and he went out [of the prison] …  And immediately the angel of the Lord smote [Herod] … But the word of God grew and multiplied (Acts 12:4).

Herod had an Easter date against the early Church.  We could put Nigeria’s name there and call the year 2020, and the parable might make better prophetic sense.  To the discerning as well as the simple, in the physical also, no less has the urgency been stressed by recent curious media agitations from certain parts of the country, and the equally curious exodus of their peoples to certain other parts of the country.  But we have also heard the Lord.

We might have been shamed by righteous blood spilled on the altars, by the painful molestation of our virgins, by the captivity and the enslavement of our young men, by the forceful occupation of our territories, but we have also heard God through His prophets, that He will come through for the nation when we would seem to have hit rock bottom.  That time could be today, but the destiny of every generation lies in the hands of the people of that generation; whether they sleep or arise.  Not Moses nor Martin Luther will return to lead this age to its Promise Land.

Having been directed again to coordinate the present initiative, and having consulted with respective leaders of the Church and intercessory organisations in the country and abroad and secured their commitments to this urgent call from on high, we are persuaded that Mercy shall prevail over judgment in our national destiny.  In the spirit of ceaseless supplications, a 24/7 prayer watch shall commence soon after this exercise, tentatively, until 10th October, 2020 (10/10/20), with participating individuals and organisations in Nigeria and abroad picking a 30-minute slot in the day to watch in prayers.

The Week of National Prayers & Repentance has been scheduled as follows:

  • DATE: Monday, 3rd – Sunday 9th February, 2020
  • Everyone should fast during the day and find at least an hour to pray before midnight.
  • Each city centre should meet daily at their designated venues to spend at least an hour of corporate prayers.
  • On the seventh and final day, the meeting should include children, women and men, each group requesting God’s mercy and the frustration of Herod’s malicious and bloody calendar.  A Passover Communion, where possible, is recommended, to close the day, besides psalms and hymns and scriptures to be read.
  • Kindly find attached a guide for the daily meetings, and contact persons in respective locations in Nigeria and abroad.

Below is a programme guide especially for the last day of the Week.  Each centre may however be freely guided by the Spirit of God.

2.  Prayers: national repentance/rededication (Ezra 10:1-3);

3. Hymns/worship/songs

You may kindly share this information as widely as you can, with your members, your branches, and with other Christians.  Be free to reach any of the undersigned with further matters of interest.

May the Lord strengthen your good hands for much more at “such a time as this” (Esther 4:14) in this Week of mercy mingled with tears.  Amen.

Sincerely,

Prof Kontein Trinya

Good morning brethren. God bless you for this trumpet call I want to share some insights that Lord gave me as I sought His face about this prayer effort. This directly concerns the Church in Nigeria and us Christian who are fasting and praying.

The passage is Judges 6,7, and 8.

Gideon - the leader
32,000 - all Christians
22,000 - complacent Christians
9700.    - willing, but ‘unbroken’ Christians
300.       - ‘broken’ Christians.

**God will bring healing to our land through the brokenness of the few.
Judges 8:26

THE WEAPONS

Trumpets. Empty pitchers. Lamps and a Shout.

**God will use very unconventional weapons to get us victory.

THE LEADER 6:25-27

God will break him first. The requirements will be intense, some public. If he doesn’t allow God to do a thorough work of preparing him, he will succumb to unbroken areas of his life. This will ultimately become a snare that will lead God’s people away from Him again.

See Judges 8:24-27

***I feel that, going forward, God wants us to emphasize the message of REPENTANCE, through which He will bring us to a place of brokenness. Then we become the people that He will use to heal our land.

May the Lord find us faithful

Humbly submitted,

Rebekah Ayodele

21 Days Prayer and Fasting for Repentance

“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2        As smoke is driven away, sodrive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3        But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.”
Ps. 68: 1-3

In the NT, three Greek words are translated “repent”. They are “metanoeo”, “metanoia” and “metamelomai”. The repentance that God delights in is “metanoia” and that is the repentance in Matt. 3: 8 “Bring therefore fruits meet for repentance”. In other words, produce EVIDENCE that you have repented. Nigerian Christians have agreed to pray and fast for 21 days to bring repentance to God. That is good. Now, produce evidence that you have truly repented.

The easiest way to do this, in addition to avoiding sin, is to pronounce “judgment” on every sin and evil that we are guilty of. We cannot claim to have repented of evils and yet tolerate the evils. God has pronounced judgment on our land because of sin. We must also show God that we pronounce judgment on the very things God has judged us of.

2 Cor. 11: 31 put it this way: “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”

Therefore, our prayer point for the last week is: JUDGMENT.

What are we going to judge?

Before we think of politicians and armed robbers, we should remember 1 Pet. 4: 17 that judgment must begin from the household of God. In 2013, when God said, “If care is not taken, in 30-40 years Nigeria will be like Turkey”, God described Nigerian Church as an IRRESPONSIBLE Church. Every manner of abomination and lawlessness that is not mentioned amongst pagans is tolerated in the Church. The Nigerian Church has been unable to call itself to order therefore God had to judge the land. The 7 year season of judgment from 2011 – 2018 is primarily punishment on the people of God.

On 30th June, 2016, as I started praying for mercy and divine intervention for Nigeria, God stopped me and chided me for trying to stop what He needed to do. I understood and asked for forgiveness. (Now in 2018 that the 7 years is full, we can now pray for mercy like Daniel.) That night, breaking into 1st July, 2016, I had a dream of standing before a king. Audio Bible was playing loudly in the hall and I was telling the king, “Kabiyesi, listen to the word. It is Jeremiah 27. That is the Word of God for now.”

DO NOT FORGET: HOLY COMMUNION ON SUNDAY 13TH MAY, AT 6.00PM AT YOUR CHOSEN LOCATION

Monday, May 7, 2018

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

2       As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

3       But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. Ps. 68: 1-3

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6       Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

7       To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8       To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9       To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. Ps.149: 5 - 9

`PRAYERS POINTS (EXTRACT) FROM GODS ETERNAL PLAN FOR NIGERIA

The Messenger

God acknowledges the fact that there is a remnant Church in Nigeria that knows Him, loves Him and is crying out for His intervention. Hence, He has sent light, as seen in various prophecies spoken by Servants of God over Nigeria and the recent revelation given to the Messenger as to the state of the nation (past, present and future) encapsulated in Gods Eternal Plan for Nigeria (Psalm 118:27).

A dear Sister asked me a question yesterday. These were her words.

In GEPFN you said that the Lord has a date to keep with Israel and with Nigeria (See Pg.145 GEPFN). We have seen the date with Israel kept, why is the date with Nigeria tarrying.

After reflecting on the question, I drew her attention to God’s principle for dealing with nations as outlined in Jer.18:6-10.

In dealing with nations, God has options. Our response to His word determines His final action. God ordained that Israel would spend four hundred years in bondage in Egypt but it lasted for 430 years. Until the people began to groan, there was silence in heaven.

Also, prophecy is not of private interpretation. When prophecy is released as touching a nation, the leaders of the Church must evaluate it and judge it. If it is the word of the Lord then we take ownership of it and wrestle for it’s fulfilment. Since the publication of God’s Eternal Plan for Nigeria, I have not seen anybody who said it was not the word of God, but yet I have not seen the mainstream Church travail in prayers to bring forth the clear promises of God though we sent it to all the major leaders and left a free copy online.

This last week of fasting and prayer is indeed an opportunity for us to pray in line with what is revealed about the Seven Eras of the nation and we must not miss it. Also the prayers should continue even after the period of fasting because in Strategic prophetic Intercession you don’t stop until you prevail. (See 2Kngs.13:14-19, 25).

Theme:- Dealing with the atmosphere of Sorcery and Witchcraft over Nigeria

Monday – Dealing with the atmosphere of witchcraft and sorcery in your personal life/family

  1. Isaiah 49:24-26, Colossians 1:14, 19-22. Renounce and reject every dedication to witchcraft and sorcery from the time you were in your mother's womb, naming ceremony, wedding  or and traditional ceremony or ritual you have partaken of.
  2. Psalm 107:2-3. Confess and declare your faith in Christ i.e. That you have been redeemed by the Blood from every atmosphere of witchcraft and sorcery.
  3. Standing on the confession of your faith read Matthew 12:29; 16:19 bind the strongman of witchcraft and sorcery in your family, spouse’s family , your neighborhood, the environment where you work or do business and cast them out of your life and atmosphere.
  4. Matthew 15:13 uproot every altar of witchcraft and sorcery around you and ask it to be consumed by fire.
  5. Defile all the sacrifices that have been offered on such altars.
  6. Psalm 17:13, Job 5:12, Zechariah 9:4-5 ask that all the expectations and influence of witches and sorcerers over your life be cut off.
  7. Psalm 140:11 Silence every voice of witchcraft and sorcery over your life and atmosphere with the Blood of Jesus.
  8. John 8:36 thank God for the freedom
  9. Joel 2:25-26 Ask for restoration of all the years, virtues and Blessing that witchcraft and sorcery have devoured in your life.

In the second week of the 21 days fast (Mon. 30th April – Sun. 6th May is second week), our prayers shall focus on dealing with atmosphere of SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT. In this treatise, I will endeavor to provide some background information that will enable us to pray aright. The detailed prayer points can be accessed at www.csmnigeria.org/nigeria-repents

I would like to refer us to some prophecies and spiritual insights shared concerning Nigeria in the recent past. Before the 2015 elections, the Messenger gave some prophecies about what was going to happen. On 8th April, 2013, I received this word from the Messenger, and I sent it to people on my email list:

“… the people on the other camp have pooled resources together to send a company of 300 Imams to Saudi Arabia to raise divination and enchantment against the people of God concerning the 2015 election. Part of what they will do is to use prognostication to discover a candidate that has the best chance to succeed. They will impose him on the Nigerian space through divination and at the same time project strife and divisions in the camp of God's people.”

On 20th September, 2013 this word came through the Messenger:

Rv.22:7: “You ask concerning 2015. What if I opened your eye to see what is going on in the Chambers of hell. … (A political party) … and the mergers are the plans birthed in the 6th Chamber of hell to produce hell’s choice for the leadership of your nation and I will not allow it. My people have no discernment. Those that should seek Me and find out have lost their sight and vision and so they are seeing as mere men. The chambers of hell have recruited enough men, paid enough price through massive blood sacrifice and self denial to hijack the process if there is an election.”
