THANKSGIVING: Lamentations 3.22,23 - “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”
Worship the Lord, for His unceasing mercies and sustenance over us as a Church, Nation, family and as individuals. In spite of much conflict, within and without, we are not consumed. Indeed, great is Your faithfulness. Thank You, Lord.
REPENTANCE: Isaiah 31.1 – “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses; who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord”
2 Chronicles 16.12 “In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.”
Lord, we are sorry. As king Assa, in all our tribulations, anguish, suffering and bearing under heavy yoke, we have not FULLY as a Church and Nation come to realization that it's our turning away from You, our God that has placed us under such shameful afflictions and untold hardship. Instead, we have depended largely on our human efforts and verbosity. We cursed, complained, accused, murmured, criticized; looked to foreign and internal aid, compromised - played along all to no avail. We cry, Oh LORD, please in mercy forgive us. As the Church, Nation and individuals, forgive our tendency to down play sin. And again like king Assa, our aggressive and arrogant reactions when confronted with our wrong deeds. 2 Chronicles 16: 7 - 10. Have mercy, LORD, we are sorry!
PRAYER POINTS
- We cry, oh LORD, please open our eyes of understanding to see ourselves (individual, family, denomination and the BODY - THE CHURCH) in the light You see us, Father.
- Turn us back to You completely. Open our eyes to see, acknowledge You as ALMIGHTY and of SUPREME POWER in handling all situations. Cause us to diligently follow and serve You with this revelation.
- Give us fresh fire and unction in prayers and for all Kingdom assignments and services. Baptize Your people with a faith that does not flinch under fiercest opposition as was the early Church.
- Revive our Passion for the 24/7 Chain Prayers; and establish it Yourself.
- We raise the standard of the BLOOD of Jesus over the entire territory of Nigeria. We declare null and void all anti Christ policies including any thought to force the Covid 19 Vaccine on the people of Nigeria by any means.
- Genesis 1:28 “God blessed them...fill the earth and subdue it” We bind the demonic forces behind terrorism, corruption kidnappings and killings as we exercise our authority and dominion in Christ Jesus. Luke 10: 18.19
- We demand of Heaven that angels be released to arrest all perpetrators of wickedness in our Land. Heb 1:14
- Give the Church a clear and sound mind, one voice and wisdom in tackling national challenges. Let the world look to the Church for solutions again, we pray
- We command peace over the unrest in the Western states, in Imo and the Eastern parts, and entire Nation. All sources of provocations pushing towards these stirrings, be stilled and stopped. With the speaking Blood of Jesus, we silence every drumming of war in NIGERIA. Hebrews 12:24
- We plead mercy for the Church by the Blood of the Lamb and demand unconditional release of all held captive including Leah Sharibu, the Kaduna students and all else in captivity. We cease the peace of their captors and set them into total disagreement and confusion in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
- I Tim 1.18 “I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well” We wage war as we insist on the fulfillment of the second segment of Pa Elton's prophecy on Nigeria and various other similar declarations on revival of the Church, and on Nigeria being God's End Time platform from where revival and the gospel will reach out to the Nations of the earth. In agreement, we say, LET IT BE, LORD; for the set time to favour Zion is NOW! Matthew 18:19
- All troublers of Nigeria and of the Church that would not repent, be nullified that Nigeria may have peace
