THANKSGIVING & REPENTANCE: Rom_8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Let us heartily thank the Lord for how far He has gone to redeem us, to fetch us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Also, appropriate this grace; ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14). Seek God’s help for sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation.
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: Passover
PRAYER POINTS:
Exod 3.12 “Certainly I will be with thee”. Let us thank God for how firmly He has been with us, without which the Church in Nigeria would have been already consumed minced meat for the enemies of the gospel
Exo 3:9 “Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them” Let us thank God that the wickedness of His adversaries against His children is not lost on him at all.

“There shall be more troubles in the years ahead in the North. There shall be killings and fightings but at the end, there will be peace in the land for God shall use the Federal Government to stop the crisis…We are about to witness the great fight of Islam and its fall…The plan to Islamize Nigeria shall be brought to nothing by God’s people rising all over Nigeria in the Spirit against the powers behind it. The Church in Nigeria must rise up like Moses in authority to be used by God to judge Pharaoh and Islam in Africa. In years ahead, Satan shall be on rampage in Nigeria to fight his last battle…but God through the Church in the power of the Holy Spirit shall defeat the spirit”
- Through Dr Kole Akinboboye, 1988 (also in IFN’s book Nigeria in Prophecy:
“There is a war coming over your land…I will prevail over My enemies in the time of this war. It is a time of pain, a time of bloodshed and destruction. I will be with my congregation. In the midst of this turmoil will I reveal my Davids....I will raise a new leader unto you in this land….an instrument in my hand to break the yoke of Islam….Your eyes shall behold things in this land, but at the end I will bring you into Sabbath of rest with Myself”
- Thank God that the current crises have not taken Him unawares. He knew ahead and He is in control
- Pray for God’s grace upon the Church to play its part: including to live right, “rise up like Moses in authority”; and “rising all over Nigeria in the Spirit against the [evil] powers”. You do so now.
- Thank God for the firm assurance of decisive victory at the end. Pray for God to effect that end
- Pray for God to arise and do what He alone can do, to decisively subdue Pharaoh, grant you and the Church in Nigeria a Passover, to liberate His children
MATTERS ARISING IN THE NATION: Pray for other matters arising in the nation as observed or as the Spirit of God leads; cast down evil imaginations that lead men to attack airports, trains, etc; pray that in the ensuing political activities, God’s counsel shall stand in all irrespective of what the hearts of men have devised; pray for an end to the war in Ukraine; pray for Israel etc.; and give thanks and praise to God.

- Mat_21:44 “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” Pray that Leah Sharibu shall be set ON OR BEFORE HER 19TH BIRTHDAY in May; and other less-known persons in captivity like her
