THANKSGIVING: 1Th 5:18 “In everything give thanks” Like the life of Joseph, often when God is doing profound and far-reaching work, it may seem like He is distant and not answering; especially when God is laying a foundation for great glory. Please count your blessings and the blessings of Nigeria including the fact that we are advancing in democracy not an Islamic state or military rule; then thank God with all your heart
REPENTANCE: Also, ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14). Seek God’s help for sustained righteousness in the land.

PRAYER POINTS:
- Gen 49:23-25“The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him; but his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Even by the God of thy father, Who shall help thee” Adversaries have sorely grieved the Church in Nigeria, shot, hated. Pray that God will cause the Church to abide in strength, to make the arms of the Church strong, that God will help greatly
- Exo_18:4“And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh” Pray that this shall be our testimony, that God will grant Nigeria an Eliezer experience and dispensation, that God will deliver the Church from the sword of the Pharaohs of our time, our nation and generation
- Deut 33.26 “There is none like God…riding to your rescue through the skies” Pray to the God of mercy to ride through the heavens swiftly to rescue the Church in Nigeria
- Deu_33:29 “Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. Pray for an outpouring of grace, that by His grace, God shall be the “the shield of thy help” for Nigeria, “sword of excellency” to the Church, enable the Church to tread down the high places of moneybags, occultists and terrorists. By the hand of He Who frustrates the et the enemies of the Church by all devices be found liars
- 2Ch_26:15“And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvelously helped, till he was strong” Nigeria is today the base of the largest online (virtual) prayer platform and the largest on-ground (physical) prayer centre. Ask God to have mercy on Nigeria and the Church, and cause His fame (God’s) and His “name spread far abroad” from a supernatural turnaround in Nigeria by His help, just as His fame spread to all surrounding nations after He helped Israel against Egypt and other nations before Jericho (Num 14.15, Deut 2.25)
- Php_2:13“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” Pray that God will help the Church in Nigeria to live in righteousness and be united…that His help may flow, that Nigeria may have “the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore” (Psalm 133)
- Psa 121:1 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth...The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul” In this season of grand conspiracies and evil schemes, pray that God will show Himself mighty in the help of His own in mercy. - Eze_21:27“I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him” Leadership is so crucial to the peace and progress of Nigeria and the peaceable practice and advancement of the Christian faith. Partner with God to enthrone His choice of leader by decreeing that all evil and incapable candidates be blocked, overturned, cut off and God’s choice alone be enthroned over Nigeria.
