PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, Jul 10-16, 2022
THANKSGIVING: Eph_2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” But for His grace, we would have been blind and dead in sin. Give Him thanks, praise and glory for yourself, your family, the Church and Nigeria. Thank Him also for others He shall yet save, among Muslims etc.
REPENTANCE: Also, ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, your family’s, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to turn and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14).
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: The Falsehood and invocations of the Islamic Festival of Eid El Kabir
Muslims are celebrating ID EL KABIR. This festival is founded on falsehood – that it was Ishmael and not Isaac that Abraham sought to sacrifice before God intervened and provided a ram.
1) Let us bring the blood of JESUS to blot out and delete the falsehood in the hearts of Muslims
2) Release the blood of JESUS on the Islamic Altars and all creation to delete and silence the voice of Alah akbaru and all invocations, sorceries and enchantments against the Church and believers, against Nigeria etc
3) Command creation to rebel against Islamic orders and commandments.
4) Command that the shouting of Alah akbaru will begin to irritate every ear that hears it.
5) Command blind eyes to open, that covering casts be broken, and chain be cut off Muslims worldwide
6) Let them begin to understand the multitude of falsehood in the Islamic religion
7) Pray that the killing of rams in this season will make no meaning again to them, and they embrace the adequate eternal sacrifice of the Lamb of God, even Jesus Christ the Saviour of ALL
8) Pray that there will be mass rejection of the meat from the sacrifices.
9) Command that spiritual significance of the ram be completely annulled
10) Release the blood of JESUS to counter and condemn the influence of these sacrifices.
11) Let us bind the spirit of violence and bloodshed, declare that blood will not spilled in Nigeria again.
12) Command that the tongues of Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, ISWAP, Miyeti Allah and other splinter Islamic terrorist groups shall be divided; let them start to fight each other and dissipate themselves; and that the LORD should confuse their languages completely.
13) Declare mass repentance upon the various Islamic radical groups in Nigeria.
14) Islam has at its core Allah, pirating as God, that he is not, rather a principality under the feet of the Church. Using Luke 11:21-22, let us come upon him and overcome him and take away his arms and spoil him, freeing all his captives hitherto.
15) There are other errors and falsehood that this religion is pushing and standing on and forcing people by violent conquest to accept. Let us pray using Nahum 3:5 that God should expose all of these for what they are, showing the nations her nakedness and the kingdoms her shame and thereby converting from it.
16) All sacrifices, including the rams killed during this feast, serve to establish or reinforce a covenant. Let us nullify / frustrate these sacrifices with the blood of Jesus using Is. 44:25.
17) Also as Elijah did in 1Kings 18:40 – Let us de-robe the priests of their priesthood. This is necessary to bring about the prophecy, that Nigeria is the arrowhead that God will use to deal with Islam.
When the eyes of Muslims are opened, where will they turn to. The church that is supposed to harvest them for God has serious issues presently. Therefore we will briefly address the church as follows:
18) Gal. 1:6-7 puts the finger on one of the major issues troubling the church currently – the issue of ANOTHER GOSPEL. Another gospel can be created by adding to OR by removing from the original
What we have on hand now is that of removing repentance from sin in the preaching of the gospel and creating false hope of grace covering all sins forever, soon as a person is saved. As simple as that may seem, it has caused great damage. It must be stopped, so that the expected harvest of Muslim converts can happen.
Let us address the issue as Paul did in his time as given in Gal. 1:8-10 as follows:
i) Let us pray that all engaging in such, should suffer what vs. 8 says and
ii) God to make all preaching to please men rather than God, to cease from now on vs. 10.
iii) God to raise faithful priests that shall do according to that which is in heart 1Sam. 2:35 i.e. preach the complete and true gospel. Pray for grace and wisdom on the Church to evangelize and disciple Muslims
