MARATHON PRAYERS
Monday 7th August – Sunday 13th August 2023
PRAYER POINTS
In line with the prayers that started last week, we shall continue to pray for the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon Nigeria. These prayers are based on the word that God gave in 1995 from Isaiah 32:9-18. Verse 10 warns, “Many days and years shall ye be troubled …” while verse 15 assures, “until the spirit be poured upon us from on high…”

1. Genesis 1:1-3: In the beginning, the earth was without form and void until the Spirit of God appeared. From that moment, light came, and the restoration and renovation of Earth commenced.
Pray that Holy Spirit shall be poured upon Nigeria for the restoration and healing of this country.
2. Zech. 4:6: Resolving the political, economic, social, and religious crises in Nigeria requires divine intervention. Pray that the Spirit of God shall be poured upon this country.
3. 2 Cor. 3:17: Pray that the Spirit of the Lord shall deliver Nigeria from every bondage, locally and internationally. Pray that by the Spirit of the Lord, the Globalists' agenda for Nigeria shall be nullified.
4. Luke 11:13: Make a righteous demand from heaven based on that word of God. Ask God for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
5. Isaiah 11:1–4: Pray for the justices in the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, that the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon them and fill them with wisdom, understanding, and the fear of the LORD.
6. Haggai 2:5: Pray that the atmosphere of fear and confusion in Nigeria shall dissipate. Pray that the Spirit of God shall be poured upon Nigeria, and the people shall be filled with hope and courage.
7. Isaiah 51:19: Pray that the Spirit of the LORD shall lift a standard against every manipulation to cause violence, bloodshed, and war in Nigeria.
